  • CEO, Matchmaker, and Head Coach

    Daphney is Fern Connections' CEO, in addition to being a Certified Matchmaker and Certified Date & Relationship Coach for the company. Daphney is enthusiastic about making non-traditional connections for individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. She founded Fern Connections in 2020 after noticing a lack of inclusivity within the world of Matchmaking services and has since been featured in the New York Times, Huff Post, and has received Brainz Magazine's CREA Global for her work as a Relationship Coach. Daphney is passionate about uplifting the voices of marginalized youth and supporting efforts to protect and serve the unhoused, queer youth community in DFW, and is the leader behind Fern Connections' philanthropic endeavors. Daphney currently resides in Texas with her partner and their dog Roman (keep an eye out for him in one of our Dating with Daphney videos! 🐶)

    Maxwell is our Marketing & Social Media Manager here at Fern Connections. When she’s not managing tasks behind the scenes, Maxwell enjoys spending time with her two cat-kids, reading a good book, or enjoying the company of her loved ones.

    JJ is the Videographer and Social Media Coordinator for Fern Connections. When he’s not working at Fern Connections, he does freelance photography and videography work; he also runs a YouTube channel.
